"Engaged"

I love Tee. I love her so much. Nobody I know is more positive and upbeat and always down to have a fantastic time. People come close. But Tee is the only person I know who has flown from Bangkok to NYC for a weekend and actually spent more time in the air than on the ground...

I think we are very similar people in that we both try to soak up life and experiences and the opportunities we've been given to the best of our ability.

There have been epic adventures. There have been tens of thousands of skymiles. There have been countless nights of wastedface. There has been SO MUCH FUN.

We've traveled the world together:

From Vegas...

To Buenos Aires...

To her home in Thailand...

To my pseudo-home in Hong Kong...

To even an epic two days in INDIA...

We've done a ton. And I know there will be many more adventures to come in our unbelievably epic lives.

.........................

So Tee decided to come to NYC to celebrate her birthday.

I told her we should celebrate our birthdays together.

But we all know that no birthday is any fun unless it has a THEME.

And an obvious trending theme this year is the ENGAGEMENT PARTY.

And everytime I have too much to drink I always tell Tee we should just get married already so that she can get her green card and U.S. citizenship and we can throw a big fun party for all our friends.

And she says, "only if you put a ring on it."

And so I visited Zameer, who is an amazingly gifted jeweler, and he designed a gorgeous ring - just for my little Teebags.

Tee arrived in NYC.

We met at the Spotted Pig for brunch.

Bloody Marys...

Gnudi (cheese filled gnocchis)...

A Cuban Sandwich...

And their signature burger with shoestring garlic/rosemary fries.

And then...once outside...

I got down on my knee and I popped the question. And asked her to fake-marry me.

It was nerve-wracking!

But she accepted it!

Our green-card wedding will be so wonderful.

We parted ways before our engagement/birthday party to buy new clothes.

And I went to Chinktown to get a $7 haircut.

I love my little Thai princess!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!
