I forgot to post about our last day in Tokyo, when we went to the Tsukiji Fish Market.
It was so nice to have Ryuji and Risa as tour guides.
Tsukiji Fish Market is the largest fish market in the world. $6-$8 billion dollars worth of fish passes through Tsukiji on an annual basis. And almost all of the world's premium sushi tuna.
The place is massive and kind of crazy. With dudes on little motor-trucks cruising around trying to avoid hitting tourists.
And there are fishes fishes everywhere.
(Sebastian the crab would flip the f*ck out.)
EEEEEK!
Gross...
The market has a number of restaurants that serve THE FRESHEST POSSIBLE SUSHI YOU COULD EVER FIND. IN THE WORLD.
Tunatunatunatunatuna.
The waits for these places were insane.
The chicken teriyaki place had no wait though...
We walked around the market, towering over people, obviously.
And our tour guides led us to a little hole in the wall sushi joint in an alley of the fish market. NEVER would have found this place on our own...
I had the tuna 3 ways and it was SOOOOO GOOD.
I LOVE SUSHI. I LOVE JAPAN.
