Mid-Week Vegas EatParty!!!!

We arrived in Vegas by air on Tuesday afternoon.

And followed the signs to the gleaming city within a city that is New York New York Hotel and Casino.

The exterior of the place is awesome. The interior? Kind of lame.

We had lunch in "The Village"...

Delicious Tacos and Steak Nachos!

Also there's a nice pool.

Our room looked out on the Manhattan Express, the rolly coasty that encircles the hotel.

The rolly coasty was SUPER fun. Especially at night when all the lights of Vegas are aglow. (I didn't take pictures because though I love roller coasters they somewhat fill me with terror.)

It is not as fun to wake at 10:30am to the sound of ear-splitting SCREAMS every 5 minutes though. Soundproof glass anyone?

Across from New York New York is the newly renovated MGM Grand where we spent most our time.

Lions!

Oh my!

Also we went to Planet Hollywood, the interior of which I love.

And we saw Peepshow starring Holly Madison.

Choreographed and directed by Jerry Mitchell, the visionary who also created Broadway Bares.

The show was fantastic. No cameras allowed though because there were BOOBIES.

You can check out this video and get an idea though.

Afterwards I had to re-visit the Chicken Marsala that we had at Planet Hollywood the last time Danny and I were there.

And a patty melt.

And a chicken atop a waffle.

And of course we visited the Bellagio.

Where there's always some random weirdo display in the courtyard.

We stopped at the Buffet. (We actually had briefly entertained the idea of doing a $46.99 7-buffet DAY PASS but then realized that that would just be disgusting and piggish.)

Not gonna lie, the Bellagio Buffet quality was a little sub-par this time around.

I have faith that they will take our constructive criticism and bounce back though. Bellagio is a classic.

Wolfgang Puck Meatballs made up for the sub-par buffet later on in the evening.

Ohhhh and the new CityCenter is incredible.

Anyway yeah. Vegas was kind of low-key. (Though not as low-key as brokenfootedVegas.)

Tommy and I spent most of the time in the poker room and losing all my money in blackjack.

Thursday afternoon as we were getting ready to leave though we bumped into Holly Madison right on the strip!

She was too busy taking pictures of SpongeBob to take a picture with us.

Fun trip though. Goodbye NewYorkNewYork!
