Malibu Wedding / Pasadena Rehearsal

As I mentioned, I had two weddings in LA this week.

On Thursday I photographed my friend Mike's wedding on the beach in Malibu.

It was an intimate affair with about 20 or so people at the Sunset Restaurant.

Then Friday night I had Morgan's Rehearsal Dinner/ Welcome Party in Pasadena.

It was great because I got to reconnect with a lot of ladyfriends that I met through Kristen when I photographed Sam's wedding back in August 2010.

Morgan, my bride, is gorgeous and makes the CRAZIEST faces. One of my favorite things in life is a pretty girl that isn't afraid to look silly!

Luc, the groom, was quite handsome as well!

I love girls that are game to do whatever I direct them to do.

"High fashion poses!"

More Morganface!

I also love a wedding when I get to not only take pictures but also enjoy and eat and drink and play with the rest of the guests.

This shot is called "No Paparazzi!"

Late at night we reviewed pics from the day. One of my favorite things EVER is presenting people with a same-day or next-day slideshow.

How many jobs do you know where you get instant feedback on a job-well-done?

Seeing the joy on these people's faces as they look through my pictures is why I love what I do.

I'll post about the wedding tomorrow, but let me just say that it was a FANTASTIC wedding.

A gorgeous and intimate at-home setting in a gigantic garden with a medium-size guestlist, amazing food, really great dancing, really fun friends, and a smattering of celebrities!

It was SO fun. Literally I've been limping all day because my ankle is sore from jumping around and screaming at the top of my lungs until 2am.

Back to NYC in the morning!
