KatieFay's Wedding

So 6 weeks ago I shot Katie's little sister Molly's wedding.

And two weeks ago I shot a wedding at Castle Hill in Newport.

Well on Friday and Saturday I returned to Newport to shoot Katie's wedding.

Katie went to Deerfield with me, and then to Brown briefly. Add to that the fact that I had met many of their close family and friends at Molly's wedding and you get a really fun and easy wedding to shoot.

It was like a mini-Deerfield reunion.

Katie made a gorgeous bride.

And the bride and groom did not stop smiling at each other all night.

The venue looked beautiful.

The foods were amazing. Truffle Mac and Cheese and Breaded Lambchops were my favorite.

And it was just a beautiful wedding.

Mr. Fay, who is like my favorite person in the world, gave one of the best wedding speeches ever.

And Katie was dancefloor MVP once again. (She dominated at Molly's wedding which I'm now realizing I never posted pictures from.)

One semi-bridesmaid gave a speech where she thanked Katie for teaching her, "that there is no shame in being the sweatiest person on the dancefloor."

I thought that was pretty amazing. Katie even changed into a party dress so she could sweat it up on the dancefloor. Her energy and happiness was contagious. It was one of the most energetic and fun wedding dancefloors I've ever seen. And I've see A LOT.

Even the little girls got into it and were headbanging all over the place.

Loves a Deerfield wedding!

Loves me some Meachin.

Congratulations Katie!

Goony Birthday Friendchicken / Celebrity Sighting!

Megoon has turned 30!

For her birthday she won the Momofuku Fried Chicken Friendchicken Dinner.

(You may remember my having gone once or twice before...)

Walking in we noticed a curiously familiar in a red hat sitting at the bar, right in the window...Michael Cera!

And he was eating with former co-star Alia Shawkat (his sister Maeby Fünke on Arrested Development)!!!

Megoon pretended to take a picture of me and caught a snap of her on the way to the bathroom.

Wine flowed freely as we (I) plotted how to befriend George Michael and Maeby...should we send them some sake? Offer them a piece of chicken? In the end we did nothing and just stared like idiots.

Friendchicken arrived.

We grew double chins just THINKING about eating them.

No seriously, Melania grew like four of them. Count em'!

DK2 and I raced to eat the most chickens.

While always keeping a close eye on George Michael...unfortunately the only time he left his perch was to leave the restaurant. :-(

Maeby went to the bathroom like twice though.

Chickens were devoured.

We are piggy monsters.

Happiest 30th Birthday Megoon!
